Religious EducationReligious Studies is incorporated into the Curriculum in each year group. The taught programme is in accordance with the Lancashire Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education. In addition, the cultural, spiritual, moral values and citizenship form an essential part of the Personal and Social Education course taught throughout the College. Each day begins with a collective act of worship and each year group has two assemblies a week. Parents may exercise their right to withdraw their child from Religious Education or Collective Worship (under Section 389 of the 1996 Education Act).
