Humanities

The Humanities Faculty consists of five subjects; GCSE Geography, History, Religious Education, Sociology and BTEC Public Services. Specialists teach each subject although there is some overlapping of specialisms with a number of teachers teaching more than one subject. The Faculty has a suite of eight rooms.

In the lower school classes are taught in sets that are regularly monitored and reviewed. Lower sets are small and often have the benefit of a support assistant. Members of the Faculty are encouraged to employ a wide range of teaching strategies to make the lessons as stimulating as possible.
