Torgon - 2010

On the 20th February 2010, Year 11, 10, 9 and one year 8 student took a trip to Torgon in Switzerland for the long anticipated ski trip. Some of the year 11 students had been skiing with school before and knew how good school ski trips can be. This trip did not disappoint and was worth every penny.

The trip started in the school car park, most people exited but some worried just in case their bag was just over the limit. As the coach rolled in and we said bye to our parents the excitement really kicked in. The excitement drained a little when we found out the flight was delayed but when we hit Geneva and were on the coach to Torgon everyone was tired but happy.

The next morning ski boots and ski's were to be fitted and the next week was just skiing heaven. As we hit the slopes the ones who had skied before were a little rusty but soon got used to it. The first two days the sun was out and the snow was good but as the week went on the weather turned rough but the fun just kept coming and coming.

On the last day we said bye to our instructors and got ready for the journey home. Although the trip was at times tiring and people got homesick, the trip was exciting but most of all FUN! This is why this trip was the best I have ever been on and I'm sure I'm not speaking just for me.
